Check out a little info on BARITONE from Wiki:

The baritone guitar is a variation on the standard guitar, with a longer scale length that allows it to be tuned to a lower range. It first appeared in the classical music realm. The Danelectro Company was the first to introduce the electric baritone guitar in the late 1950s, and the instrument began to appear in surf music, as well as background music for many movie soundtracks, especially spaghetti westerns. In more recent history, the baritone guitar has found use within rock and metal. Some Baritone guitars may also have the capacity to be used as a bass guitar if strung correctly.

A standard guitar’s standard tuning (from lowest string to highest) is E A D G B E. Baritone guitars are usually tuned a perfect fifth lower (A D G C E A), aperfect fourth lower (B E A D F♯ B), or a major third lower (C F B♭ E♭ G C). Gretsch, Fender, Gibson (EB-6), PRS Guitars, Music Man, Danelectro, Jerry Jones, Burns London and many other companies have produced baritone guitars since the 1960s, although always in small numbers due to low popularity.[1]

I’ve read only three books my whole life! I have never read a book so quickly with such interest until I read the Four Hour Work Week by Tim Ferris. www.fourhourworkweek.com is the website and Tim has a great blogwww.fourhourworkweek.com/blog which is titled ‘Experiments in Lifestyle Design’.

My personal highlights in the book are regarding outsourcing, e-mail management and automation. These principals/ideas can be applied to people working in corporate companies, small business owners or stay at home mums. I have applied these principals to my 9-5 job and a couple of my websites: www.guitarpedals.co.nz & www.propedalboard.com

If you are interested in discussing this book and how to apply its principals please drop me an email or you can comment here.

You can purchase the 4HWW here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0307353133

Trying to find a laundromat in Brisbane - the impossible mission!

You wouldn’t believe the trouble we had finding a laundromat in Brisbane today! In the end we found a coin operated laundromat in Logan Central but it was way too busy so we ended up using a friends!

It has been so wet in Brisbane lately (our new home) but I kind of like the rain in the afternoons and evenings for sleeping especially! We’ve had no need for a dryer but thinking of getting one now due to the wet weather etc.
